that wasn't a normal check up. Poor Sarah had all of this eye goop in her right eye, it's been going on for about a week and today her eye was kind of like crusted closed. I felt so badly for her. It didn't seem to hurt her, but it was obviously not normal.
So I took her in to the doc and he said most likely she has a clogged tear duct. Which isn't a big deal really. He gave me a prescription for some eye ointment just in case it's an infection but he didn't think it was anything serious.
The shocking part of this visit is that she weighed 10 pounds! 2 pounds from now she'll have tripled her weight from birth! That is unreal.
No other news really. They are still sleeping for 6-8 hours at night. As soon as they get to a full 8 hours consistently I am going to have them start sleeping in their crib. Right now they are in our room. I think it's going to be a bit of a transition for them because they definitely associate our bedroom as the sleep room. They calm down as soon as we come in here. It's cool but I hope it isn't too hard to switch rooms. I am going to make it happen though because I don't want to end up with a couple of two year olds in my bed years from now. lol.
