What?!

I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted on this blog! I guess life is busy when you have twins, plus two older girls...PLUS ONE ON THE WAY! lol.

As of today I am 28 weeks preggo. Exciting stuff! I'm really starting to show, I actually look pregnant, baby is kicking kicking kicking and other people can feel it too (from the outside lol). It's a good time.

This pregnancy has been much different from my first. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I wasn't running around taking care of two one and half year olds all day long. I was able to get a lot of rest last go round and take REALLY good care of myself. This time, not so much. Don't get me wrong. I do take care of myself...but probably not as well as I should and def not as well I as did last time. I get tired a lot more easily and I had a bout of dehydration.
I think the fact that I didn't have the time before I got preggo to mentally prepare myself for the change of life style that comes with being pregnant. With the twins I had been trying for a few months and I knew I could be preggo any time, but with this little guy it was a complete surprise. I great surprise...but a surprise none-the-less! I think also being this far along in the heat of the AZ summer is something that definately makes it harder this time.

At any rate...I'm still excited for November to come so I can meet my little guy and have my body back...sort of. lol. I'm using my same midwife as I did with the twins and she is wonderful. So helpful and supportive. I trust her fully and she really understands my POV as far as birthing goes. I also KNOW that if she says I need a c-section...I truly need one. It won't be for the convenience of the doctor or anything like that.

We moved. We have a bigger, newer, house...for the same price as the smaller older one we used to live in. We did have to move outside the city but it's worth it. We live close to some really good friends and they are super supportive. We've only been here a month and everyday they show me that we made the right move for our family. We def had to make some sacrifices, and take some risks to move but I know we did the right thing. Other people may not agree, but I care not. I know when I have this baby I will need all the support I can get, and they will def be there for us/me.
side note: stairs suck for 7 mo preggo ladies lol.

I think we've pretty much decided on a name for this little guy.

Lucas Reid Wickersham

Chris and I both love it! If he's born and just does NOT look like a Lucas we will reconsider but for now I think that's gonna be it. We had been thinking about Reid as a first name but I was never really sold on it and one day Luke popped into my head which then made me think Lucas and that was that pretty much it. I like the idea of Luke for short too so it works both ways.

We have one more REALLY big decision to make in the next three months: circumcision.
To circumsize or not. Chris knows exactly how he feels about it, and I am on the fence. There is a lot to consider, especially in our society. I thought I knew exactly how I felt until I found out we were having a boy and that I would actually have to make this decision. I've also spoken to a lot of people about their opinions and there are good points (IMO) for both sides. It will effect my boy's entire life...esp his sex life lol, and I want to make the right decision for the right reasons.

Anyway...lol he's gonna read this one day and be like "OH MY GOD! I can't believe you blogged about my penis!" Sorry buddy...but it's important to think about and I'm pretty much an open book :-) I'm sure you know that by now.

The twinsies are doing well. They are 19 months old now. Sarah is SUPER talkative. She copies just about every word she hears. Obviously they are both walking and running and moving all over the place. They follow commands pretty well too. Most of the time they know exactly what I'm talking about, when I'm talking to them lol. Olivia isn't terribly talkative. She kinda tries but her articulation just isn't there where as Sarah can really annunciate.
They are both obsessed with shoes...Sarah especially. My friend Holly was watching them the other day and she texted me and said "everytime my bedroom door is open Sarah runs in and bolts for my shoes!" lol. I said...that's my girl! I've been known to have a shoe obsession. lol.
The big girls are doing well. Ave starts Kindergarden next week and Rosa has already started 2nd grade. They are both pretty excited, esp Rosa. She is actually in the same school as two of her older sisters so she is just ecstatic. They are both pretty excited for a little brother too. I feel kinda bad for this kid...surrounded by girls. lol. Luckily his dad is a manly man and will teach him the ways of manhood lol.

Well, I'm gonna grab a nap!
I'll try to post some preggo Aimee pics soon too :-)

Olivia being clever

Olivia is so good manipulating things with her hands, she really is gifted! She eventually got the belt buckled and was awful proud of herself.
