Update, very much needed!

So much has happened lately. The babies are just getting cuter and more adorable by the second!

Tonight has been a particularly rough one. Sarah is teething in full force! She has woken up twice tonight, and both times her scream was so piercing that it woke up Olivia, who is also teething btw. The first time Sarah woke up she was just completely inconsolable with the most heart wrenching cry ever. Thankfully I heard about these teething tablets that are magical. They are a homeopathic remedy. They are really small tablets that dissolve under their tongues and in like 30 seconds flat the babies feel fine again. Tonight they were a God send that is for sure.
So Sarah has two teeth right now that are actually visible. I haven't been able to capture a picture of them just yet but as soon as I can I will absolutely post it! I think she might be working on some top teeth right now. She's been a real pill today.
Olivia is working on some teeth too, although she hasn't cut any yet. I feel so badly for her poor lil mouth.

What else here. Well the girls have started eating 'real' food. They love saltine crackers, graham crackers, working on cheerios, mashed up banana, peas and carrots, butternut squash, green beans, macaroni and cheese, cheese sticks, mashed potatoes, yogurt, etc. They will eat anything really, with the exception of cottage cheese. They DO NOT like it what so ever. I tried mixing it with fruit but they still weren't having it. They like pretty much anything else though. It's such a fun time.

In other news, the girls are so much more aware of each other. They actually kind of play together now. It's seriously adorable. In the mornings I bring one out to the living room, and then the other (because I can't really hold both of them at the same time anymore) and when they see each other they both laugh and smile at each other. Olivia crawls right over to Sarah, and will sit near her. They don't particularly like being apart either. I feel like they miss each other sometimes.

Speaking of Olivia crawling, she is now also pulling herself up on EVERYTHING. Every morning when I go in to her room she is standing in her crib waiting for me. I love it. She also kind of puts her arms up wanting me to pick her up.
She loves to crawl all over me too. If I am near her on the floor she comes right over and crawls up me. It's so fun, although it makes it rather difficult to accomplish anything. I went ahead a bought a few pairs of shoes for the girls because A. they are adorable, and B. Olivia stands on her toes mainly so I thought it would help her if she had shoes on to stand flat footed. All of the summer stuff is on sale here so I've gotten some really good deals on clothes and shoes. I'm going to have to post some pics of them in shoes and some of the lil outfits I've gotten them lately. It's freaking adorable, let me just say.

That is all I can think of right now. I better get to bed, tomorrow is going to be difficult! Looks for more pics!

Hey, Aimee!
Sounds like so much fun. :)

Believe me, getting photos of baby teeth is incredibly difficult. We had lots of out-of-focus photos of the vicinity of Ridley's mouth when she first got teeth.

As for shoes, we highly recommend Robeez. They're those soft leather shoes, kinda pricey unless you can find them used, but they're great for a few reasons: (1) they actually stay on, (2) because they're soft-soled, kids can actually walk in them (take a close look at how thick the soles are proportionally for kids' shoes. It'd be like wearing platform sneakers), and (3) they're extremely cute. Oh, and they're very comfy. Hania still has a pair and she prefers them over everything else. Plus, new research is pointing to thick-soled shoes as a cause of all sorts of problems, so soft leather (or barefoot) is much better.

Oh! Thanks for the info Jonathan! I do want to find some of those Robeez. I've heard wonderful things about them. I tried these pair of Nikes that are soft soled and Olivia absolutely hates them!! She actually prefers the hard soled shoes. I will look into the Robeez though.

Hope all is well on your end. I think a visit is very much needed!!
